We will introduce general information about the Latin America certificate, PCN offices are available Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Mexico, Brasil, Chile, Argentina
PCN began providing certification services for Latin America in 2012. Currently, we are a leading company in the certification field in Latin America.
- BRAZIL certification system: PCN Brazil currently has four offices and is expanding our scope as a member of ABRAC, IAAC, IAF and CMC. PCN Brazil can support wide project for Household, ITE/AV, Telecom, Medical and Battery products.
- ARGENTINA certification system: PCN LATAM handles certification locally for Argentina, Mexico and other countries. Argentina has a IRAM safety energy certification system and ENACOM TELECOM certification system
- MEXICO certification system: Mexico has the NOM safety certification system, CONUEE energy labeling system, and IFETEL telecommunication certification system. The NOM certification system requires HS CODE.
- CHILE certification system: Chile has the SEC safety certification system, energy labeling system, and SUBTEL communication certification system. SEC is mandatory for electrical products. SEC certification can also be tested at overseas testing lab that have signed an MOU. Chile have 7 different Certificate systems.
- COLOMBIA certification system: Colombia has the RITIE and RETILAP safety certification system, energy labeling system, and CRC communication certification system
- ECUADOR certification system: Ecuador has the INEN safety certification system, energy labeling system, and ARCOTEL communication certification system.
- PERU certification system: Peru has an energy labeling system and an MTC telecom system. The energy system is managed according to five types, and the telecom certification system accepts international test reports and accepts international test reports and grants. Fcc and CE only for cell phones. Require local representation and not require local testing.
- URUGUAY certification system: Uruguay has the safety certification system, energy labeling system, and URSEC RF certification system.
- BOLIVIA certification system is ATT. The validity period is 5 years, and local representation is required. Not subject to local testing. Paraguay’s certification system is CONATEL.
- PARAGUAY has restrictions in the frequency band. A local representation is needed.
Not subject to local testing.
- GUAYANA certification system is NFMU. Guayana has restrictions in the frequency band. A local representation is needed. Not subject to local testing.
- SURINAME certification system is TAS. Can accept international test reports. Local representation is needed. Not subject to local testing.
- VENEZUELA certification system is CONATEL. Can accept international test reports. Local representation is required. Not subject to local testing.
